Industrial Filters
A Filter is also a device used to protect downstream equipment and we have a variety of them based on the media being filtered.
Type of filters used are:
- Cartridge filters - Polypropylene, sintered metal
- Bag filters - Polypropylene, Nylon, PTFE. These are available in single bag and multi bag units, designed for standard double length bags (7” dia x 30” length). Special sizes and designs are available on request.
Codes: ASME Sec. 8, Div.1; ANSI B31.3, B31.8.
Sizes: 1” to 3” standard for single bag units; 2” to 12” standard for multi bag units.
Liquid filters:
- Remove solids out of liquid
- Remove another liquid out (eg.water out of oil)
- Remove liquid and solids out
Gas filters:
- Remove solids out of gas
- Remove liquid out of gas
- Remove liquid and solids out of gas

There are always two stages. Stage 1 coalescing stage and Stage 2, filtering stage.
